It’s Back with more Momentum than Ever!
McNally High School hosts its
annual Tiger Spirit Bike-A-Thon for the 5th year in a row with
tremendous enthusiasm from its organizers and participants as the
New Year rolls in. The Bike-a-Thon fever has made its way into
McNally, bringing about both old and new participants excited to
raise money and win the battle against cancer by biking for 24 hours
to support the research conducted by Cops For Cancer. Numerous
prizes such as the “Best Team Name”, “Best Team Cheer” and many
more, including our successful newest edition, “The Least Carbon
Footprint” are waiting to be won. So, let’s bring with us our Tiger
Spirit and bike away to help reach a cancer free future.

2010 Tiger Spirit Bike-a-Thon
Many of McNally’s staff members, students, friends and families have
been affected by cancer. In an effort to overcome this devastating
disease, McNally has had a long standing tradition of raising money
for Cops for Cancer through Head Shave Events, Grad Committee
Christmas Pancake Breakfasts and Tiger Spirit Bike-a-thons. In the
spirit of McNally’s motto “Nothing but the Best”, the efforts of the
students, staff and the community have resulted in donations to in
the Canadian Cancer Society in excess of $193,000. Once again
McNally’s students and Cops for Cancer Team Iron members are
planning the “2010 Tiger Spirit Bike- a-Thon”.
The
2010 Bike-a-thon will consist of 36 teams of approximately 8-12

the large gym for 24 hours, from 3:00 p.m. Thursday March 11 to 3:00
